B.Ed in Special Needs Education Degree 2026 – Open University (OUSL)

The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) invites applications for the Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Special Needs Education degree programme for the 2026/27 intake.

• Medium: Sinhala, Tamil, English
• Duration: 04 Years

Entry Qualifications

• Applicants who have already completed a Diploma (Level 3 & 4) from the OUSL, 
  OR
• A candidate who has obtained a National Diploma in Teaching (Special Education) from a National College of Education may seek admission to Level 5 and subsequently Level 6 of the Bachelor of Education Honours in Special Needs Education Degree Programme, with exemptions for Levels 3 & 4 of the Bachelor of Education Honours in Special Needs Education Degree programme.
