Romanian Government Undergraduate Scholarships 2026/2027

The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education (Higher Education Division) has called for applications from eligible Sri Lankan students for the Romanian Undergraduate Scholarships 2026/27 offered by the Government of Romania.

A total of 02 Undergraduate Scholarships are available for the academic year 2026/27.

These scholarships provide tuition fee coverage, accommodation support, a monthly allowance, and the opportunity to pursue undergraduate studies in Romania.

General Requirements

• Be a citizen of Sri Lanka
• Minimum of 3 passes in G.C.E. A/L Examination 2024 or 2025
• Possess good knowledge of English
  • Minimum “C” pass in English at G.C.E. O/L
  • Minimum “S” pass in English at G.C.E. A/L or equivalent
• Good health and ready to live in Romania during the study period
• Not registered as an internal student in a State University in Sri Lanka selected by UGC
• Not have previously received a Romanian scholarship for Bachelor studies

How to Apply – Applications must be submitted online only through: https://foreignscholarships.mohe.gov.lk/

• No postal applications required
• Incomplete/late applications will be rejected.
