The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced that the University Admission Cut-Off Marks for the Academic Year 2025/2026, based on the G.C.E. A/L Examination 2025, will be released during the first week of August 2026.
A total of 92,043 applications have been received for university admission. Of these, 42,937 students are expected to gain admission to Sri Lankan state universities for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Applicants are advised to regularly check official announcements and be prepared for the university registration process once the cut-off marks and selection lists are released.
