Prohibition of Tuition Classes & Seminars – Grade 05 Scholarship Examination 2026

The Department of Examinations has announced that all tuition classes, subject-based lectures, seminars, workshops, and other related activities conducted for candidates sitting the 2026 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination must cease by midnight on 05 August 2026.

The Grade 5 Scholarship Examination is scheduled to be held on Sunday, 09 August 2026, at 2,723 examination centres islandwide. The department also warns that legal action will be taken against those who violate this directive under the provisions of the Examinations Act.
