The Department of Examinations has announced the postponement of the First and Second Efficiency Bar Examinations and the Foreign Language Test for Officers of the Sri Lanka Foreign Service – 2025 (2026).
According to a special notice issued on March 3, 2026, the examinations were originally scheduled to be held on March 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28, 2026.
However, the exams have now been postponed until further notice following a request made by the Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism.
The announcement was officially signed by A.K.S. Indika Kumari Liyanage, Commissioner General of Examinations.
