The Ministry of Public Administration has announced plans to recruit 150 officers to the Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS).
The recruitment will be conducted through a competitive examination, and appointments will be made based on the examination results.
Public Administration Minister Chandana Abeyratne stated that applications for this recruitment examination will be invited soon.
The selected candidates are expected to be appointed as Assistant Secretaries in government institutions.
The Minister further stated that there are currently a large number of vacancies within the Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS), and this recruitment process will help address the shortage of officers.
