The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) has opened applications for the Advanced Certificate in English for Professional Communication (ACEPC) 2026/2027 programme.

This programme is designed for students who wish to improve their English communication skills for academic, professional, and career development purposes. It is ideal for school leavers, university applicants, and working professionals looking to strengthen their English proficiency.

The course is offered through the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Language Studies, and is available at all Regional and Study Centres of OUSL.

Entry Qualifications (any one of the following)

• Completed Certificate in English for General Communication
• Completed Stage I of the Advanced Certificate in English for Business and Professional Communication offered by The Open University (OUSL)
• Simple Pass or above for General English subject at the GCE A/L Examination
• Through the Selection Test conducted by the department, which will place you, depending on your language proficiency.
