The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has released the lists of candidates who have qualified for interviews for recruitment to Grade 3-I (a) of the Sri Lanka Teachers’ Service – 2026.
The Department of Examinations conducted two examinations on 24 May 2026 to recruit graduates for Sinhala, Tamil and English medium teacher vacancies in national and provincial schools across Sri Lanka.
The two examinations were:
- Limited Examination – Recruitment of Graduates in the Public Service to the Sri Lanka Teachers’ Service – 2023 (2026)
- Open Examination – Recruitment of Graduates to the Sri Lanka Teachers’ Service – 2026
Interview Calling Letter & Schedule
- Candidates who qualify for the interviews will receive interview calling letters by post to their addresses.
- The calling letters will include the interview date, time, venue, and details of the documents to be submitted.
- Interview dates, times, and venues will also be published on the relevant official websites during the period from 15 October 2026 to 30 October 2026.
- Candidates can check the Ministry of Education website and the relevant Provincial Public Service Commission, Provincial Ministry of Education, or Provincial Chief Ministry websites for interview details.
- Interview Schedule Publishing Period: 2026.10.15 to 2026.10.30
