Colonization Officer Vacancies (Open Exam) 2026 – Land Commissioner General’s Department

The Land Commissioner General’s Department (LCGD) has called for applications from eligible candidates for the Open Competitive Examination for Recruitment to Grade III of the post of Colonization Officer in the Supervisory Management Assistant Technological Service Category – 2026.

Educational Qualifications

• Passed the G.C.E. A/L Examination in one sitting with three subjects from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Agriculture or Agricultural Technology.
• Passed the G.C.E. O/L Examination in six subjects in one sitting with credit passes for Sinhala/Tamil/English Language, Mathematics, Science and one other subject.
• Two-year Diploma in Agriculture awarded by an institution recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC)

Age Limit

Applicants should be between 18 and 30 years of age as at the closing date of applications. (Eligible applicants should have been born between 31.07.1996 and 31.07.2008.)

Examination Details

1. Intelligence Test – 1 Hour (100 Marks)
2. Subject-related Technical Test – 3 Hours (100 Marks)
