Educational Qualifications:

• Should have obtained from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or an institution recognized by the UGC as an institution of degree awarding.
• Should have obtained at least a credit pass in Mathematics and English language at the GCE O/L Examination.

Physical Qualifications:

• Should have a minimum height (without shoes) of 5 feet 06 inches and the chest should not be less than 33 inches without expanded).
• Should have visual acuity of at least 6/6 and 6/12 without glasses or contact lenses, including vision for goods recognition.
• Should be physically and mentally fit to work anywhere on the island.

Age Limit

• Be 21 years or above and not more than 35 years as at 2026.12.07
• No age limit for graduates in the departmental posts in the Excise Department
