G.C.E. A/L 2025 (2026) Results Re-Correction Applications Now Open

The Department of Examinations has announced that applications are now being accepted for re-scrutiny (re-correction) of the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination 2025 results.

Application Period

• Opening Date: April 6, 2026
• Closing Date: April 22, 2026

• Official mobile app of the Department

Important Instructions

• Applications must be submitted online only
• Both school and private candidates must apply by themselves
• Use your Index Number & NIC used for the exam
• If not registered, create a profile using your NIC and contact number
• Carefully read all instructions before submitting

Application Fee – Rs. 250 per subject

Re-Scrutiny Process

• Answer scripts will be re-evaluated by multiple examiners
• Results may:
  • Increase
  • Decrease
  • Remain unchanged
• Changes may affect the Z-score and final grades

• You can download the application PDF after payment
• Keep it for your records
• You will receive an SMS confirmation

Additional Notes

• Incomplete or unpaid applications will be rejected without notice
• Fees are non-refundable
• Candidates who failed due to low marks in General English / Common General Test can also apply for re-scrutiny of that subject
