Notice on Issuance of Admission Cards for G.C.E. A/L Examination 2026
The Department of Examinations has announced that Admission Cards for the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination 2026 have been issued.
The G.C.E. A/L Examination 2026 is scheduled to be held from 10 August to 05 September 2026.
Admission Cards Distribution
- School Candidates: Admission cards have been sent to Zonal Education Offices. Principals are requested to collect them and distribute them to students immediately.
- Private Candidates: Admission cards have been sent by post to their personal addresses.
Also, candidates can download their admission cards online from 24th July 2026 via the official website of the Department of Examinations
Amendments to Admission Cards
Candidates can request amendments only to their name, subjects, or examination medium through the online portal. The Department stated that only one revision attempt will be allowed for each candidate, and requests to change examination centres will not be accepted.
The online amendment facility will remain available until 12.00 midnight on 03 August 2026.
