Admission of Students to Full-Time Courses (2026 Intake) Conducted by the Sri Lanka German Training Institute (SLGTI), Kilinochchi

The Sri Lanka German Training Institute (SLGTI) has opened applications for its 2026 full-time courses intake. Students can now apply for several full-time NVQ Level 4 and NVQ Level 5 technical and vocational training programmes conducted at the SLGTI, Kilinochchi.

These programmes are offered free of charge, and classes are scheduled to commence in July 2026.

• Automobile Technology (NVQ 5)

Admission Requirements

NVQ 04 Programmes

• Have completed up to NVQ Level 3 in the relevant field
  OR
• Pass G.C.E. O/L with 6 passes, including Mathematics and Mother Language

Age Limit: 16 – 24 years
Medium: English & Tamil

NVQ 05 Programmes

• Have completed up to NVQ Level 4 in the relevant field
  OR
• Pass G.C.E. A/L with at least 2 passes in one sitting (Physical Science or Bio Science stream)
  OR
• Pass G.C.E. A/L with 3 passes in one sitting (Technology stream)

Medium: English

Key Points

• A duly filled application form should be submitted with the bank slip of Rs. 1,000/-
• Payment should be made to the specified People’s Bank account in favour of SLGTI
• If applications exceed the required limit, a selection test will be conducted
• Hostel facilities are available for students
