Notice To State University Entrants 2019/2020
A special Loan scheme of Rupees One Hundred Thousand (Rs. 100,000/-) has been introduced for the students to purchase a Laptop Computer. As recommended by the expert committee of the university system, three options are available for the students to select Laptop Computers to suit their needs.
A recommended list of suppliers with their specifications and selling prices of the Laptop computers are published in the University Grants Commission’s website (https://www.ugc.ac.lk/). Laptops are available from the price range of Rs. 80,500/- to 177,500/- based on different specifications. If the price of a Laptop selected by a student is higher than the Loan facility, student should pay the balance amount in cash or make any other arrangement with the vendor. Upon ordering by the students, recommended suppliers have consented to supply Laptop Computers within eight (08) weeks.
