Recruitment of Graduates for the Orientation and Coordination Course in the Post of Physiotherapist in Professions Supplementary to Medicine – 2026
The Ministry of Health and Mass Media has invited applications from eligible graduates for the Orientation and Coordination Course in the Post of Physiotherapist in Professions Supplementary to Medicine – 2026.
Applications are invited from Sri Lankan citizens who possess the required educational qualifications and Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) registration. Recruitment is conducted to fill vacancies for the Physiotherapist post within the Professions Supplementary to Medicine Service.
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
- Have passed the G.C.E. A/L Examination with a Credit Pass in Physics and passes in two of the following subjects at one sitting:
- Combined Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Agricultural Science
- Hold a UGC-recognized Bachelor in Physiotherapy (Bachelor in Physiotherapy / BSc in Physiotherapy Special Degree) with a minimum of 120 academic credits.
- Be registered with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) as a Physiotherapist.
Age Limit
Applicants should be between 18 and 35 years of age as at 07 August 2026.
