Required Qualifications

Should Have Fulfilled Following Educational Qualifications.

• Should have passed six (06) subjects at the GCE O/L Exam with Credit passes for Sinhala/ Tamil/ English, Mathematics and two (02) other subjects at one sitting AND
• Should have passed at least one (01) subject at the GCE A/L Exam (except General Common Test and General English under the new syllabus)

Professional Qualifications

• The applicants applying for the Sinhala/English Stenographer Post should have followed a course on stenography in Sinhala/English medium with a duration of not less than six (06) months in an institution recognized by the TVEC or should have obtained a Credit pass for type writing and shorthand (Sinhala/English medium) at the GCE O/L Exam.

Experience: Having obtained a six (06) months practical training at a government approved institution after following the above course.

Age Limit : 18 – 30
