The University of Ruhuna has invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for several non-academic staff vacancies. Interested applicants must submit their applications on or before 05 May 2026 through the official online application portal.

- Instructor in English (Grade III)
- Pharmacist (Lower Grade)
- Public Health Inspector (Grade III)
- Technical Officer (Grade II – Segment “B”)
- Management Assistant (Store-Keeping) (Grade III)
- Driver (Grade III)
- Plumber (Grade III)
- Mechanic (Grade III)
- Tractor Operator (Grade III)
Application Method – Applications will be accepted only through the online submission portal:

Applicants must upload their completed application along with certified copies of all relevant certificates through the web portal before the closing date.
Application Fee – Each applicant must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1,000 for each submission using the relevant application reference number. Payments made to incorrect account numbers will not be accepted.
Important Notes
- Candidates applying for more than one position should select all relevant posts and submit only one application
- Government, University, State Corporation, and Statutory Board employees must apply online first and then forward the downloaded application through the Head of Institution by registered post
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for examinations and/or interviews
- Appointments will be made on probation for a period of three years
- Incomplete or late applications will be rejected without prior notice
