Homoeopathy Medical Degree Scholarships for Sri Lankan Students under the Sponsorship of the Government of India 2026/2027

The Ministry of Health and Mass Media has invited applications from eligible Sri Lankan students for Homoeopathy Medical Degree Scholarships with Indian Government Sponsorship for the academic year 2026/2027.

A total of 10 scholarships are available to Sri Lankan students to follow the Homoeopathy Medical Degree Course at the National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH), Kolkata, established under the University of Western Bengal, with the sponsorship of the Government of India.

• Course Duration – 5 ¹/₂ Years

Qualifications

• Have passed Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the Science stream in one sitting at the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination.
• Have a pass for General English at the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination.
• Have obtained a Credit pass for English Language at the G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) Examination.
• Be between 18 and 25 years as at 25 September 2026.
