The Department of Examinations has announced the schedule for the Practical Tests of the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination 2026.
Candidates who have successfully completed the written test for specific subjects are required to participate in the practical test, which will be conducted across the island.
The practical tests are scheduled to begin on September 24, 2026, and will continue until October 21, 2026

Admission Card Instructions
- School candidates: Admission cards will be sent to the respective School Principals.
- Private candidates: Admission cards will be sent to the candidates by post.
- Candidates can also download their admission cards online through the Department of Examinations website: www.doenets.lk
- Candidates are advised to check their admission card and appear for the practical test according to the relevant date and instructions.
