The Department of Sri Lanka Customs has officially announced the Open Competitive Examination for recruitment to the post of Assistant Superintendent of Customs (ASC) Grade II – 2026.

The examination is scheduled to be held in August 2026 in Colombo only. The exact exam date will be announced later by the Department of Examinations.

Qualifications

Applicants should fulfill the following requirements:

Age Limit

• Age should be between 21 – 35 years as at the closing date of applications

Educational Qualifications

• Hold a degree with a duration of not less than 3 years from a university or institute recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)
  AND
• Obtain at least a Credit Pass for English Language at the G.C.E. O/L Examination
  OR
• Obtain at least a Simple Pass for English Language at the G.C.E. A/L Examination

Physical Requirements

• Male Applicants
  • Minimum height: 5 feet 5 inches
  • Minimum chest measurement: 33 inches (expanded)

• Female Applicants
  • Minimum height: 5 feet 3 inches
