Calling Applications for Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology (IT) Degree Programme (04th Intake – 2026/2027) Conducted by The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL)

This industry-oriented degree programme is designed according to ACM/IEEE curriculum guidelines and is suitable for students as well as employed individuals who wish to pursue a career in Information Technology.

• Duration: BSc in IT (3 Years) / BSc (Hons) in IT (4 Years)
• Medium: English
• Course Fee: Rs.300,000/= (Approximately) only for 90 credits. [LKR. 3010/= per credit]

Admission Requirements

• A minimum of three (03) pass grades in any number of sittings of the GCE A/L Examination in any stream, Sri Lanka
• A certificate in Foundation programme in Social Science/ Advanced Certificate in Social Science offered by the Open University of Sri Lanka
• A minimum of three (03) pass grades of any of three (03) subjects offered from among the Foundation programme in Science/ Advanced Certificate in Science offered by the Open University of Sri Lanka
• A minimum of three (03) pass grades obtained from the combination of Sections option 1 & option 3 above
• An equivalent or higher qualification acceptable to the Senate (e.g. GCE Advanced Level – London can be considered with this option)
