The University of Kelaniya has officially called for applications for aptitude tests required to select candidates for the degree programmes under the 2025/2026 academic year, based on the GCE A/L Examination 2025 results.

University Admission for Academic Year 2025/2026 Based on the GCE A/L Exam 2025

Degree Programmes :

  1. BSc (Hons) in Sports Science
  2. BA (Hons) in Film and Television Studies

Eligibility Requirements

  1. BA Honours in Film and Television Studies – Should have obtained at least a Simple Pass (S) in any three subjects at the G.C.E. A/L Examination in 2025
  2. BSc Honours in Sports Science – Should have obtained at least a Simple Pass (S) in any three subjects under any subject stream at the G.C.E. A/L Examination in 2025

Test Structure – 📝 Film & Television Studies:

  • Written Test (Sinhala medium only): General Knowledge · Understanding Cinema & Television · Creative Writing
  • Oral Test – only top scorers from the written test will be called

Test Structure🏃 Sports Science:

  • Physical Fitness Assessment
  • Sports Achievements Evaluation (International, National, Provincial, District & Zonal levels)

How to Apply

  • Apply online via: https://aptitudetest.kln.ac.lk/
  • Applicants should use an active email address when applying.
  • Admission card will not be sent by post. It will be sent via email or SMS.
  • Printed copy of the admission card should be taken to the exam centre
  • Candidates must report to the Exam Centre at least one hour before the exam.
